post Category: Easy Businesses — mike @ 9:36 am — post

My high school had amazing sports teams and other extra curriculars. We won county, regional, state, and even some national championships. Our Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) , POMS, band, cheerleading, etc. were all really good at what they did. Consistantly the clubs and sports were in the newspaper for their success and accomplishments. When I was in high school I thought how neat it would be, if I collected all of the newspaper articles that had any referance to my high school, and and turn it into a book of some sort. I was really big into school spirit (newspaper about myself) and I knew people in each organization would want something that highlighted themselves anyway. Just recently, my school won state championship for football and a national blue ribbon award - those are big accomplishments and got a lot of press for it.

If you take all of the clippings each year, by the end you will have enough for a “year book” type thing that you can sell to people. You could either sell people the single year, or the overall high school career showing the success of their freshman-senior year. The neat thing, is that it would be wanted by MANY people. This is something that would go great in conjunction to my previously mentioned article about renting graduation caps and gowns. You could team up with the school Boosters (PTA) and have them help promote your product.
